Kittens
Owning a Birman is a wonderful experience and should also be for the lifetime of your pet. Here at Bandilea we put so much time, dedication, love and money into ensuring all our Birmans have the best start to life. After all, we want you to enjoy your Birman just as much as we do. Please don't be offended if we ask lots of questions, its merely to ensure our babies go to the right homes, which ultimately is for your benefit. We always try our best to match a kitten with its purrfect home.
Our birman babies must go to homes where they will be kept indoors only or with access to an outside enclosure. Birmans are susceptible to being stolen due to their friendly, people loving nature. You also minimize the risks of cat fights and costly abscesses as a result. You elimate the risk of your beloved furbaby getting hit by a car, you elimate the risk of wandering dogs attacking your cat and you decrease the risks of the spread of FIV and FeLV.
Please also note that we may not have kittens available all the time. We are, after all, responsible breeders and as such our queens are not mated more than once a year when possible. We are not a kitten factory, nor a pet shop, we pride ourselves on the standards of kittens we raise and as such there may be a waiting period for your beloved Birman baby.
All our breeding cats are registered with GCCFV. All kittens at Bandilea are raised in the home from birth. They are used to all household noises and are socialized extensively with dogs, cats, kids and everything and anything to ensure they make the adjustment from our place to yours with ease. Our kittens are raised on fresh human grade meats, a variety of fish and and Pete Evans Healthy Everyday Pets premium cat foods. Our kittens come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea free, litter trained, a health guarantee and include a comprehensive kitten pack. We also include our on going support for the life time of your cat.
Kittens are ready to go to their new homes from 10-12 weeks. This is strictly non negotiable and we will not allow our precious babies to go any earlier. It is for their best interests as we want to ensure they are growing well, healthy, well socialized and are old enough to have all their vet work done.
We are happy to fly kittens interstate at our discretion (references and your life story will be required), however they must be on a direct flight. From time to time we may also have show quality kittens available. If you may be interested in showing your Birman baby we are more than happy to help get you started and choose a kitten that is suitable for you.
Please note: Breeding cats are only sold to registered, approved breeders also at our discretion.
If you are after a 'cheap' kitten then a Birman is probably not the right choice of cat for you.

Adults
From time to time we may also have some young adults available. these have been our own precious cats/kittens which we have decided to retire from our breeding program for various reasons. These cats will also come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea free. The bonus of getting an adult is that you don't have to go through the kitten stage, so these cats often suit elderly people who can't handle the energy of a tiny kitten. Once again, we try our best to match our adults to the right homes.
Available: We have two adult retired females looking for their new home (Lolly & Lucy). Mother and daughter bonded pair. MUST go together, not suitable for a home with children or other cats. Please see our Facebook page for more details.
