This page is where the Bandilea Birmans get to acknowledge some of the wonderful past cats that have graced our doorstep. Realistically we cannot keep everything and it is with a heavy heart these beautiful cats have left for their new lives.

Kyatwo Mufasa (Imp USA)

Blue Point

It is now finally time to introduce the new boy on the block... We welcome Mufasa into our breeding program. All the way from the USA this boy carries some wonderful old straight seal/blue lines. A huge Thank you extends to his breeder Hilde for allowing him to make the big trek to Australia.

The best part is his temperament, just lovely! Sadly, Mufasa only sired 2 litters for us here in Australia before his retirement.

"Mimi" is staying on to replace her mummy who has now retired. She has been blessed with show markings. She has lovely substance, beautiful roman nose, nice coat coming through and a well balanced girl overall. She is a cheeky monkey at home, knows she's a bit special and has the attitude to match whilst still being people loving and easy going. A slow maturing girl we look forward to the finished product when she is all grown up and her eye colour has come back in.

"Tammie" comes to us all the way from NZ. This little girl is Teddy's niece. Tammie is hard to fault, she is exceptionally strong in type and her countless show wins reflect this. Adding to her good looks is her fabulous, bold, outgoing, loving temperament. She just knows she's beautiful and likes to let everybody know all about it because like her uncle, she is also a 'talker'. Tammie has been a great mum and has produced some wonderful kittens for us. She is mother, grandmother and great grandmother to many wonderful babies.

Tammie is a multiple Best of Breed winner and a Best In Group winner both as a kitten and as an adult, including at national level. She is a once in a lifetime cat and we love her to pieces. It was with a very heavy heart she left Bandilea for her forever home as she simply didn't want to share her space with multiple other cats, the downside of breeding, but in the best interests of Miss Tim Tam.

Photos simply do not do this boy any justice, he is devine in every single way. Simply cute as a button with type by the bucketload and super outgoing personality. A big boy who is just like a cuddly teddy bear. He is a consistent winner on the show bench, a testimony to his type and character. His kittens have had the most exceptional temperaments we have ever bred.

"Panda" is a special present from her mothers final litter ever. A lovely solid girl with a friendly, people orientated temperament. Panda is a Multiple Best Of Breed winner and has now gone to live with friends abroad to help out their breeding program. We wish them some wonderful babies from her.

"Golli" now lives with a friend and one day will have babies of her very own. Golli is a multiple Best Of Breed, Best In Group and Supreme In Show winner. She was GCCFV Runner Up Best Longhaired kitten of 2016 and Birman Kitten of the Year 2016.

Aptly named as it suits her perfectly, a wonderful and unexpected present from her mummy and daddy's final litter, with a temperament like her grandmother, she is edible!

It was with a REALLY heavy heart we let this amazing boy leave for his new home. We had planned on him staying forever with his magical temperament however our other neuter boy just didn't accept him, so for his own best interests "Rocky" moved onto his new chapter in life. Such a super boy who has left his legacy here at Bandilea, a Supreme in Specialist Show winner, multiple Best In Group and placings in Group in NZ, also in Australia as both an entire and neuter. He will be fondly remembered forever.

"Breeze" has now retired from our breeding program after giving us many beautiful babies over the years. She was successful in the show ring winning many Best Of Breeds and placings in Group, including at National Show level. We are very proud to have been given the opportunity to own such a wonderful, big, typey cat.

"Miffy" as we call her is a special present from her wonderful mummy, who holds a very special place in our hearts. Miffy has lovely show markings and so far excellent type with gorgeous roman nose and eye colour. At Miffy's first ever show she surpassed all expectations and was a broad ribbon winner with a Best In Group win.

Miffy has now gone to live with her new family who love her very much and appreciate the quirkiness and fun loving nature of the line.

Bandilea Temptation

"Tilly", although not show marked gave Bandilea some wonderful, typey babies and we are very grateful to have had her in our breeding program. Her kittens were always very popular with pet buyers and a couple have been successful in the show ring. She now lives with her half brother with a friend and is extremely spoilt.

Adorabella Donnerblitz (Imp NZ) "Toby"

Toby made the trek here from New Zealand and was here to help develop our chocolate program. He has the softest temperament, a real smoocher. He had a brief show career as a kitten and adult winning Best Of Breeds and a multiple placings In Group. He now lives with friends and will continue to be shown now as a neuter.

Grd Ch Sharvic Shiraz Black "Tazzie"

What can I say about this beautiful boy. He was just devine with that distinctive clear, silky coat and super dark point colour. Tazz had a wonderful temperament and never once misbehaved on the show bench or at home, it simply wasn't in his nature. He gave us some wonderful babies and we are grateful to have his progeny to go on with. He stamps his progeny with his great ear set and boning. He has also proven to pass on that magnificent coat and dark point colour to his offspring. Enjoying his life now as a much loved pet who has a mummy that worships the ground he walks on.

Trixe was a lovely blue point girl. She was a soft natured but independent girl who raised her kittens well but never really enjoyed being a mum. She did however produce one of the most stunning birmans we have ever bred in Bandilea Furst Love.
